Transition
We are developing (new) products and services that help our customers to prevent and/or restrict loss and damage, adapt to changing (climate-related) conditions and reduce their carbon footprint. As an insurer and service provider we have a facilitating role in enabling and accelerating the transition to a sustainable economy and society.
Our insurance portfolio will be climate-neutral no later than in 2050. We determine this based on scientific data that help us to define our targets as clearly as possible. Achmea is a member of the Forum for Insurance Transition to Net Zero.
