In Cote D’Ivoire, Achmea Foundation funded a project of Ignitia on local weather forecasting for farmers. Ignitia’s highly accurate, hyper-local weather forecasts enables smallholder farmers to turn weather conditions from a risk into an asset. The project has been successfully completed, more than 134.000 farmers were onboarded and Ignitia will expand this service to other countries.
